In the homework for numbers 13-18 on page 468, it asks for the equation for the line of symmetry. What is the line of symmetry????

It's the "invisible" vertical line that cuts the parabola in half, thus it is a line of symmetry. Recall that vertical lines ALWAYS have an equation of "x = " (some number), like x = 3 or x = -4.

Re-read the 1st page of ProbSet 9A and see if it makes more sense now.
